Thank you for visiting the McMurry Community Wellness page, we are excited to bring to you new opportunities to enhance your overall well-being.  Our goal is to create and sustain a culture that educates, motivates, and empowers faculty and staff to adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles. Taking responsibility for one’s health and well-being is vital to getting the most out of your life and ultimately making valuable contributions to the mission of the University.

Resources Include:

Calendar- Check out dates & times for community walks, monthly awareness events, and other opportunities to join exercise on campus or in the community.

Exercise & Aid- Here you will find links to campus resources that employees are encouraged to take advantage of---the University Wellness Center, Pool, Activity Center, and maps of walking paths on campus.

Nutrition- Each week you will see articles about health related issues and overall good information about how to make healthy choices about diet, exercise, and other topics that we need to learn more about.

Featured Programs- Each semester the wellness committee will look for ways to engage the campus in a fun activity that encourages participation across campus through a wellness campaign program.  There are many different ways to earn points to earn incentives but the program is designed so that all can participate.  Goal is to develop healthy behaviors that can be maintained over time!
